McAfee pop up blockers help stop popups cold

Popup blocker software (such as McAfee pop up blockers and others such as Panicware and Stopzilla) is getting more and more effective with every release. These pop up nuker/blaster apps can often stop popups that the built in Internet Explorer popup blocker cannot. If you use the web a lot and are annoyed buy the constant barrage of popups and would like to stop pop ups in their tracks, you should look into downloading pop up killer software by Panicware, Stopzilla or McAfee.  (See our Popup Stoppers page for details).

These programs can be set to start with you computer and give you round the clock protection from annoying pop-up ads. When you visit a site that has pop up ads on it, the popup blocker that is sitting in your system tray will work for you to stop the pop up before it even loads. You can configure all of the settings for the popup blocker right form a handy right click menu in the system tray.

You just click on the pop-up blaster application's icon in the tray and click settings. From there you can adjust the settings for the pop up nuker, such as setting the popup blocker to launch at startup, setting the popup blocker to only block ads from certain sites, or allowing pop ups from certain sites to be allowed. This is important in case you need pop ups for navigational needs of a particular site.

I, personally like to use popup nukers from Stopzilla and Panicware, but there are others out there that are equally effective at stopping popup ads and other annoying types of pop-ups. You should check our main pop up blocker page for  a little research for yourself to find the best popup software for your needs.
